Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Salinas, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school district located in Soledad, CA. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, offering an engaging role providing direct, in-person speech and language therapy services to students across multiple schools and a mixed-age caseload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy to support student communication needs
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized IEP goals
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Documenting student performance and maintaining accurate records
- Participating actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Candidates must hold a valid California Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC credentials. Experience working in educational settings and familiarity with pediatric therapy are highly desired. This position requires onsite availability full-time (37.5 hours per week) across multiple school sites within the district.
Qualifications:
- Valid CA SLP license with CCC
- Experience with pediatric speech therapy and educational caseloads
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Willingness to work onsite throughout the contract duration
Interviews will be conducted via Zoom with a panel format, scheduled as soon as possible. Fingerprinting and other onboarding requirements will be completed in accordance with California education regulations.
