Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct speech-language pathology services to K-12 students in a school setting
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations in areas such as articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social-communication
-
Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans aligned with student needs and school district standards
-
Collaborate with special education staff, general educators, families, and other related service providers
-
Attend IEP meetings, track student progress, maintain documentation and compliance with district/state guidelines
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) from a program accredited by American Speech?Language?Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent

Must hold or be eligible for a school services personnel license with the “School Speech-Language Pathologist” endorsement in Tennessee pursuant to the Tennessee Department of Education regulations.

One of the following Tennessee-specific pathways: – Advanced degree in SLP plus qualifying assessment scores; or – Advanced degree plus a full and valid out-of-state SLP license from a NASDTEC-partner state; or – Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred

Valid driver’s license (if required by the school district) and willingness to travel between school sites as needed

Must complete any required district/school-based clearances (fingerprinting/background check)
