Travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Grayslake, IL
A specialized Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a travel assignment in Grayslake, IL, supporting students from early childhood through 12th grade. This ESY (Extended School Year) role offers a focused timeframe from June 15, 2026, to July 26, 2026, with multiple positions open. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM, with the first and last day extending until 3:15 PM. This position requires in-person availability and is ideal for SLPs seeking travel opportunities within educational settings.
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students ranging from early childhood to 12th grade
- Collaborate with educational staff to support individualized student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with district guidelines
- Deliver therapy during the ESY program focusing on students requiring additional support
- Adhere to all state licensing requirements and district policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois
- Prior experience working as a school-based SLP preferred
- Capable of providing therapy services in an in-person setting
- Approval for SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) and Clinical Fellowship status pending or secured is a plus
