School Speech Language Pathologist - Round Lake, IL
Step into a dynamic contract role serving students in grades K-12 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Four full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, with new hire orientation scheduled from August 12th through 14th. Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CF) encouraged to apply
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Ability to provide documentation of licenses (please submit a screenshot of current licensure status)
- Adaptability to varying caseloads and grade assignments (K-12; specific details to be determined)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Conduct assessments, deliver therapy sessions, and complete progress monitoring and reporting
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student goals are met
- Remain onsite for direct service and team meetings—remote work is not available for this position
