Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success

Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes

Provide therapy in both individual and small group settings

Participate in IEP meetings and assist in setting measurable goals
Federal and State Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Illinois SLP License required
-
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Previous school-based experience preferred

Must meet all state and district background clearance requirements
