A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings is needed to support students at an elementary school located in Grand Prairie, TX. This contract position runs through the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to assist young learners in developing essential communication skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience working as an SLP in school environments
  • Familiarity with elementary-age child development and speech/language disorders
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records per regulatory standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive student support
  • Offer consultative support to classroom teachers regarding language development strategies
