We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team near Grand Junction, CO. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students in developing essential communication skills to enhance their success in school and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate progress documentation.
- Work with a diverse student population ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Colorado state SLP license (or eligibility).
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
- School-based experience is a plus but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide engaging and effective therapy to students.
- Knowledge of IEP development and compliance.
