Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Michigan SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school-based settings, preferably at the elementary level
- Comfortable providing services across both public and non-public schools
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate and timely records and reports as mandated
- Provide consultation and training to support staff and educators in best practices for student communication needs
- Travel between assigned schools as needed to serve all identified students
