A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Grady, NM. This full-time contract position for the current school year offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills
  • Closely monitor and document student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
  • Engage families by educating them about therapy goals and progress, fostering their involvement

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for collaboration and family engagement
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

To qualify:

  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in New Mexico
  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
