School Speech Language Pathologist - Arvada, Colorado
Providing speech-language services in an early childhood educational setting, this role offers the opportunity to support a diverse population of preschool-aged children within a specialized program. Situated approximately 30 minutes northwest of Denver, this contract position runs from the start of the school year through June, with a commitment of 35 hours weekly across five days, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology (SLP) services to children enrolled in a pre-kindergarten program at an Autism Network (AN) center.
- Utilize a workload model to manage caseload and tailor therapy interventions based on individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support communication and developmental goals.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school policies and professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required; candidates with licensure in process will be considered.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Experience or interest in working with a variety of developmental disabilities in an early childhood setting.
- Flexibility to start immediately and availability for interviews promptly.
