Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- New Mexico state licensure (or eligibility) required before the start date
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to PreK-12 students (specific caseload/classroom based on your experience and preference)
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff members
