Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working within school settings, particularly with K-12 populations
- Familiarity with or interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities and a proactive, flexible mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide targeted interventions
- Work closely with students with diverse linguistic and learning backgrounds, from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop strategies supporting student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school and district policies
- Offer training and support for staff and families regarding the use of AAC devices and communication strategies
