Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working within school settings, particularly with K-12 populations
  • Familiarity with or interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational abilities and a proactive, flexible mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide targeted interventions
  • Work closely with students with diverse linguistic and learning backgrounds, from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop strategies supporting student success
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school and district policies
  • Offer training and support for staff and families regarding the use of AAC devices and communication strategies
