School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Bel Air, Maryland

A compelling opportunity is available for licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) eager to provide impactful services in K-12 school settings within the Baltimore, MD area. Multiple positions are open across diverse locations, offering the chance to work with preschool through middle school students in both itinerant and on-site formats.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to preschool, elementary, and middle school students, adapting approaches for varying developmental stages and needs.
- Provide caseload management including assessment, individualized treatment planning, documentation, and progress monitoring.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) when serving secondary students to ensure collaborative and compliant treatment delivery.
- Travel between assigned schools as required for itinerant positions, maintaining effective communication with school teams and families.
- Maintain compliance with active Maryland professional licensure requirements and district background checks including House Bill 486 mandates.
Qualifications:
- Current and active professional SLP licensure in Maryland.
- Valid background check and district-required fingerprinting completed.
- Experience working with school-aged children from preschool through middle school is preferred.
- Ability to supervise and mentor support staff in a school environment is a plus.
- Flexibility to adhere to varied schedules including full-time and part-time options.
Location and Schedule:
- Positions available in Harford County Public Schools surrounding Baltimore, MD.
- Contract dates range from early January through late June 2026, with the possibility to extend into a four-week Extended School Year program in July.
- Weekly hours vary by position: full-time (37.5 hours) Monday-Friday or part-time (30 hours) Monday-Thursday with options for additional days.
