Speech and Language Pathologist in Glen Allen, VA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Glen Allen, VA. This contract position runs from January through late May and provides the chance to work with a diverse caseload across various ages within the school district.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12
- Collaborating with educators, SLPA’s, and onsite facilitators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports aligned with school compliance standards
- Supporting students in classroom settings and providing direct therapy services
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in K-12 environments
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads with support from SLPA’s and other team members
- Strong communication and organizational skills
