A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year (CSY) in a K-12 public school setting located in Gilroy, CA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide essential SLP services within a dynamic educational environment serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Participate in paid team meetings and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Previous school experience working with K-12 students is required.
- Ability to work as an itinerant therapist across multiple school sites may be necessary.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and background checks in accordance with district policies.

- Start Date: ASAP with an end date at the end of the current school year (EOSY).
- Interview Format: Conducted via Zoom for convenience.
- The district offers paid indirect hours for administrative tasks.
- Immediate hiring decisions are possible.
