ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic team of professionals for a VOCO (virtual/remote) school-based opportunity. This is an 18-hour-per-week position with the potential for additional hours based on student need and district expansion. This role is well-suited for clinicians who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with varying communication needs, including verbal and nonverbal individuals, as well as those who utilize alternative modes of communication such as sign language.
Job Responsibilities:

Deliver virtual speech-language therapy services to students aged 5 to 21 years old in a school setting.

Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet the diverse needs of verbal, nonverbal, and deaf/hard-of-hearing students.

Design and implement therapy plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals, communication level, and learning style.

Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other related service providers.

Attend virtual IEP meetings and provide clinical input on student progress, speech-language goals, accommodations, and service recommendations.

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and communications with team members and families.

Consult with classroom staff and paraprofessionals to support carryover of strategies and effective implementation of communication supports in daily activities.

Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training sessions as needed.
Student Population and Support:

Caseload includes a diverse range of students from kindergarten to transition-aged young adults (5–21 years old).

Students present with varying degrees of communication needs; some are verbal, others are nonverbal, and there is at least one student who is deaf and requires communication through sign language.

A dedicated paraprofessional is assigned to the program to assist with facilitation and ensure smooth implementation of services.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Active state licensure for the state in which services will be rendered and where you reside.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFs may be considered with relevant school-based experience.

Previous experience working in a school setting (virtual or onsite) is highly preferred.

Proficient with virtual therapy platforms and teletherapy tools; comfortable navigating remote learning environments.

Ability to sign (ASL) is strongly preferred due to the needs of at least one student on the caseload.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a commitment to collaborative, student-centered service delivery.
