Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career by working onsite supporting students across a district near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. With this contract opportunity, you’ll play a vital role in serving K-12 learners for the upcoming academic year. You’ll engage with various school sites throughout the district, collaborating with educators and supporting students as they achieve their communication goals.
Role Overview: You’ll deliver in-person speech-language services for students of all ages, from kindergarten through high school, in a public school setting. Your responsibilities will include assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans, collecting progress data, and partnering with families and faculty. This position requires travel across district sites and a commitment to consistent, reliable presence throughout the contract term.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification
- Active PA Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome to apply
- Prior experience in school-based, pediatric, or educational SLP settings
- Strong understanding of IEP process and school documentation standards
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Must be available onsite (no teletherapy option)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities
- Create and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Travel to school sites within the district as needed
This position starts August 18, 2026 and continues through May 27, 2027, with a 35-hour work week.
