Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY accepted
  • Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred, but strong candidates with clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based, student-focused interventions

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language, voice, and fluency assessments
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to create inclusive strategies
  • Document progress and maintain complete, accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and effectively communicate evaluation results and intervention plans to parents and faculty
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and special education
  • Provide recommendations and resources for families and staff as needed
