A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to serve students from PreK through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting in Gary, IN. This contract position offers an ASAP start date with a commitment through the current school year, providing comprehensive caseload management across multiple grade levels. The role requires expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology and holds a focus on supporting students’ communication development within a school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for students with speech and language impairments across PreK-12.
- Collaborate with educators and families to design and implement effective speech therapy programs.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions.
- Support students as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP or with CCC credentials in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Indiana state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Current knowledge of best practices in school-based speech therapy and educational regulations.
