Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a vibrant school setting located in Gary, IN. Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school environments, preferably K-12
- Strong understanding of speech-language assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring tailored to the school population
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Passion for fostering communication skills in diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized speech-language intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Track and document student progress aligned with school and state guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Maintain compliance with all relevant educational and professional regulations
