A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting serving students from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. This contract role begins February 1, 2026, and continues through the school year, ending May 22, 2026. The position serves a caseload of approximately 62 students, including those in specialized classrooms for Autism and Life Skills. The workday aligns with the school schedule from about 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech therapy services to elementary-aged students (PK-6th grade)
  • Support students with diverse communication needs, including those with Autism and Life Skills challenges
  • Collaborate with school staff, including mentors and district leadership, to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school district policies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Texas SLP licensure
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Able to work on-site; no virtual or hybrid arrangements available
  • Candidates must not be SLPA’s or Clinical Fellows (CF’s)
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech-language therapy and IEP processes

  • Garland, Texas, with assignment at a local elementary school in the Dallas/Fort Worth area
