A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 educational setting located in Plano, TX. This contract role spans the full school year (CSY) and is ideal for SLP professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are experienced in delivering speech and language services within schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary intervention strategies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Proven experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
