Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) in Galt, CA
Location: Galt, CA
Schedule: Full-Time (August 6, 2025 - June 2, 2026)
Caseload: K-12th Grade, Mixed Caseload, 30-40 Students Caseload
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12th grade students with a variety of communication needs (e.g., articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatics).

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify communication strengths and weaknesses, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), establishing measurable goals and objectives in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Serve as an active member of multidisciplinary teams (e.g., IEP teams, 504 teams) to determine student eligibility, discuss progress, and contribute to overall educational planning.

Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators, parents, and other related service providers.

Monitor and document student progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and provide timely progress reports.

Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents regarding communication strategies.

Manage a caseload of approximately 30-40 K-12 students.

Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Qualifications:
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current and active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure (CCC-SLP preferred, CFY candidates with strong clinical experience will be considered).

Experience working with school-aged children (K-12th grade) and diverse communication disorders is preferred.

Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, intervention techniques, and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.

Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and special education laws.

Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach to therapy.
