Make a meaningful impact supporting students from PreK through 8th grade in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists seeking to work onsite for the full academic year, collaborating closely with school staff and students in a supportive environment. You will be one of three SLPs serving a diverse student population at a single school site.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona SLP License
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid Arizona Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Card (must be current and valid)
- Recent experience in school settings, particularly with PreK–8th grade populations, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and school personnel
- Commitment to providing evidence-based speech and language therapy
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and conduct progress monitoring and documentation
- Collaborate with other educators and specialists to ensure comprehensive student support
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in evaluation and goal development
- Serve as a resource to both staff and families, providing training and consultation as needed
- Flexibly adapt to the evolving caseload needs throughout the school year
Position Details:
- Contracted full-time position, 40 hours per week
- Academic year: August 3, 2026 – May 26, 2027 (dates subject to change)
- Onsite role at one school location
- Caseload will be determined closer to the start date
