Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site role serving K–8 students in Portland, Maine for the 2025–2026 school year.
Key Details:

Caseload: Kindergarten through 8th grade

Setting: On-site school-based services

Work Environment: Collaborative and supportive educational team
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language services in alignment with students’ IEPs
-
Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop individualized therapy plans

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
-
ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs considered)
-
Prior experience in a school setting is a plus

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
