Position Overview:
A school district in Fryeburg, ME is seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position serving a diverse K–12 caseload.
You’ll work with students presenting a range of communication needs—from mild articulation delays to more complex cases involving AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). This is a rewarding opportunity for a collaborative clinician who thrives in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K–12

Conduct evaluations, write reports, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success

Serve students with a range of needs, including articulation, language disorders, and AAC users

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
Qualifications:

Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

Maine Department of Education certification (Endorsement 293) preferred

Experience with AAC tools and devices is a plus

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
