Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time School Position
Location: Near Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Term: August 5th - May 22nd (Full 25-26 School Year)
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team near Grand Junction, CO, for the upcoming school year. This full-time, on-site position offers a dynamic opportunity to support students across multiple school sites, serving a diverse caseload from birth through age 21.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students with a range of needs, from mild to profound, including those utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.

Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students across 1-3 school sites.

Serve as a case manager for students with identified speech/language needs, coordinating IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.

Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and inform intervention strategies.

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.

Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other related service providers to support student success within the educational environment.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and IEP compliance.
Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure, or the ability to obtain prior to the start date.

Preference will be given to SLPs holding their ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Experience working with diverse age ranges (birth-21) and various communication disorders.

Proficiency with AAC devices and strategies is highly valued.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload and serve as a case manager.
