A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services at both elementary and high school levels in Front Royal, VA. This leave assignment offers an opportunity to support a diverse student caseload primarily consisting of elementary students, with approximately 10 high school students included.
Position Details:
- Location: Front Royal, VA
- School Levels: Elementary and High School
- Assignment Duration: January 5th, 2026 through April 2026
- Work Hours: 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 35 hours per week
- Caseload: Mainly elementary students with a small high school caseload
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Competency with both elementary and high school student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students
- Monitor and document student progress in line with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies and procedures
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary approaches
