A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Chowchilla, CA, for the current school year under a contract arrangement. This role requires a dedicated professional skilled in school-based speech-language pathology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students with caseloads ranging from 60-65, including 25-30 speech-only students.
- Manage high caseloads and referrals efficiently.
- Oversee and potentially collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when available.
- Maintain compliance with school district policies and procedures.
- Deliver onsite services during the full school year.
Qualifications:
- California State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) candidate accepted; SLPAs are not eligible.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within California schools.
- At least 1 year of experience utilizing the Special Education Information System (SEIS).
- Preferred experience in supervising SLPAs or facilitators.
- Strong organizational skills to handle a demanding caseload.
Location: Chowchilla, CA – Elementary School setting.
