Overview:
A school in Fresno, CA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their educational team for the 2025–2026 school year. The SLP will serve students in grades TK–7 with mild speech and language needs, all located at a single school site. This is an on-site only role, ideal for clinicians who thrive in a collaborative school environment and are passionate about supporting student communication success.
Position Details:

Caseload: Students in Transitional Kindergarten through 7th grade

Caseload Severity: Primarily mild speech and language needs

Location: One dedicated school site – no travel between campuses

Schedule: Full-time preferred; start date is flexible

Setting: On-site only (no remote or hybrid option)
Responsibilities:

Identify, assess, and diagnose students with speech, language, and/or hearing disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

Determine appropriate student placement and service delivery models

Provide direct speech-language therapy services
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

Attend and participate in IEP meetings

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Valid California SLP license
-
PPS Credential (Speech-Language Pathology Services) or in progress
-
ASHA CCCs preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered

Experience with mild caseloads and elementary-age students preferred

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
