School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Fresno, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options
Pay Range: $44–$60+/hour (based on experience and employment path)
Blazer Jobs is now hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in the Fresno, CA area. This full-time role is open to both local candidates interested in a school-year placement and travel clinicians seeking flexible, short-term contracts with competitive compensation.
Position Overview:
You’ll be an integral part of the student support team, serving children from PreK through high school with a range of speech, language, communication, and feeding challenges. Work alongside a collaborative special education team and contribute to IEP development, therapy implementation, and ongoing progress monitoring.

Weekly pay: $44–$52/hour, depending on experience and credentials

Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

Flexible contracts (in or out of state licensure support provided)

Weekly gross: $1,800–$2,400, depending on tax-free stipends and hours worked

Housing stipends and meal/per diem (if qualified)

Travel reimbursement

Licensure and credentialing assistance

Weekly pay: $48–$60+/hour, based on experience, travel status, and certification
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language services to K–12 students in individual and group settings
-
Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility determinations

Develop and maintain IEPs in accordance with California state and district guidelines

Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
-
Maintain timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active California SLP License (or eligibility)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs will be considered
-
Previous school-based experience is highly valued
-
Must pass background and fingerprint clearance
