School Speech Language Pathologist - Fremont, California

The position starts September 25, 2026, and will extend until a permanent district SLP is appointed.
Your role will focus on supplementing existing SLP services, particularly supporting mid-to-moderate and general education preschool caseloads. While you won’t serve as the primary SLP at either school, your assessments and intervention skills will help manage workload overflow, ensuring students receive the support they need.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred
- Experience in school-based SLP services highly valued
- State license is preferred, but not a strict requirement
- Ability to work independently and adapt across two different school campuses
- Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Contract position, starting at the beginning of the school year
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Serve at one school each day, alternating between two campuses
- Provide targeted support and assessments for overflow caseloads
- Collaborate with onsite teams to ensure continuity of care
- Engage with a diverse student population from preschool through elementary levels
