Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fremont, CA
A rewarding full-time contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a dynamic school-based setting for the 2026–2027 academic year. You'll play a vital role in supporting students' communication development and academic achievement, collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in a collaborative school environment
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and personalized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, working as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and regularly update progress reports
- Provide support for a diverse range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Cultivate strong partnerships with staff and families to optimize student outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLP license, or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork skills
