Speech Language Pathologist in Fremont, CA
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a full-time, school-year position serving K-12 students in Fremont, CA. This role focuses on assessing and supporting students’ speech and language development within an educational setting, ensuring they meet communication goals to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy sessions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations for school-based speech services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP within the school environment
- Proven experience providing speech-language services to school-aged children
- Familiarity with K-12 curriculum and educational standards related to speech and language development
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
