Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fredericksburg, VA
Bring your speech-language expertise to a supportive educational environment near Fredericksburg, VA! You’ll step in to cover two overlapping maternity leaves for dedicated colleagues, allowing for a dynamic assignment where your impact is truly appreciated.
Both experienced SLPs with CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply. The school is open to learning about your specific caseload preferences (elementary, middle, or high school), valuing individualized fit to help you thrive.
In this role, you will:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services to K-12 students
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and maintain documentation
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ARD/IEP meetings
- Support a collaborative and inclusive learning environment during short-term staffing needs
Desired qualifications and experience include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or pending state licensure for school-based SLP
- ASHA CCCs welcomed, but Clinical Fellows can expect mentorship
- School-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
