Job Opening: Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Frederick, MD
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time, school-based virtual position in Frederick, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about supporting students with speech and language needs in a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations for Speech Language Pathologists in Maryland. A strong background working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Position Type: Full-Time (Contract)
Location: Virtual (Must be licensed in Maryland)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Term: School Year (Renewal potential based on performance)
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to K-12 students in a virtual setting

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using approved tools and methods
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by the district and state guidelines
-
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences

Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
-
Active Maryland SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred

Comfortable with virtual service delivery platforms and technology

Knowledge of special education procedures and compliance
