School Speech Language Pathologist - Franklin, Tennessee
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Tennessee with SLP teaching certification to provide specialized support to elementary students in Franklin, TN. This role involves delivering speech and language services, managing a caseload of approximately 13 students, and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and meetings for up to 20 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students, including three using AAC devices
- Manage and prioritize a caseload with varying communication needs
- Collaborate on IEP writing and participate in relevant meetings
- Maintain clear and timely documentation according to school requirements
- Work within a structured schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, until the end of the school year (ESOY)
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Tennessee teaching certification in SLP
- Experience with AAC devices and diverse speech-language needs preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and IEP responsibilities
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
