A full-time or part-time speech-language pathologist opportunity is available in Worcester, MA, working within an elementary school environment. This contract position offers an impactful role in supporting students with speech and language needs, starting as soon as possible through June 30, 2026. Candidates must have experience working in school settings and hold active Massachusetts state licensure for speech-language pathology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an elementary caseload with individualized assessments and progress reports
- Providing direct speech and language services to students
- Collaborating with educators and parents through consultations and communication
- Developing and writing IEP goals and documentation in compliance with school requirements
- Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to student success plans
Qualifications and requirements:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship completion (CF)
- School-based experience is essential; candidates currently licensed to practice in Massachusetts
- No SLP Assistants (SLPAs) considered for this role
- Willingness to work onsite due to the nature of the caseload and student needs
- Completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting as per school district policies
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
This role allows for a full-time 40-hour workweek or part-time schedule starting at 20 hours per week. With just one opening available, this is an excellent opportunity for SLPs who are passionate about making a difference in an educational setting.
