Certified Middle School School Speech Pathology | Fountain, Colorado
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Fountain, CO at a local school. This contract role offers a caseload of students in kindergarten through 8th grade, providing a dynamic and rewarding environment for a certified and licensed professional.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students.
- Providing direct therapy services to K-8 students to improve communication skills.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation related to student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Participating in meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support.
Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in elementary and middle school settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload of students ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with educational policies and procedures related to speech therapy services.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time contract position, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm.
- Position based in Fountain, Colorado.
- Start date is ASAP.
