Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP License required
  • Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certification required
  • SLP-CCC credential preferred, but SLP Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered
  • Experience working in school settings is highly valued
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads based on experience and district requirements
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, tailored to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing student plans
  • Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse student populations
