A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive support in a K-12 school setting located in Fortson, GA. This contract role runs through the current school year (CSY) and involves virtual service delivery to students in the Muscogee County area, emphasizing organized and effective communication with all educational stakeholders.

Location: Virtual support with service provided to Columbus, GA schools
Duration: ASAP through May 21, 2026
Hours: Full-time, 7.5 hours/day (37.5 hours per week), aligned with school hours
Assignment Overview:

  • Schedule and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Prepare and submit required documentation including Review of Data Reports (RDRs) and IEPs
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services
  • Potentially supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Maintain daily logs and submit weekly to comply with district protocols

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Georgia Educator License required
  • Experience supervising SLPAs preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability to manage caseload and administrative responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with educators, families, and service providers
  • Proven time management skills to maximize direct therapy and complete timely documentation

Responsibilities:
