A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 school setting in Fortson, GA, supporting students from diverse backgrounds with communication needs. This contract opportunity spans the current school year, with an anticipated assignment from ASAP through May 21st, 2026. The schedule offers flexibility, accommodating part-time to full-time hours of up to 37.5 hours per week depending on caseload and candidate preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with district goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator certification.
- Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) will be considered.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be available for onsite work; virtual candidates will not be considered.
