School Speech Language Pathologist - Fort Worth, TX

This contract opportunity is tailored for a skilled and bi-lingual Spanish Speech-Language Pathologist to serve a diverse group of students in grades Pre-K through 5th. Work in a supportive school environment with a strong focus on student growth from now until late May, impacting the lives of children every day.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
- Experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Ability to manage a caseload of about 65 elementary-age students
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
- Organized and adaptable, committed to providing high-quality therapy and support
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services and conduct assessments for PK-5 students with various needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for each student on your caseload
- Consult regularly with teachers and support staff regarding student progress and accommodations
- Engage and communicate with families to foster ongoing support for students' speech-language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative educational planning
Contract Details:
- 1 opening for a bi-lingual Spanish SLP
- Immediate start, with contract running through May 27th
- Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM)
- Elementary school setting, serving Cheney Hills Elementary with a caseload of 65
