Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in Texas
- Experience in school settings preferred, with skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for K-12 populations
- Confidence in supervision, especially for those interested in mentoring SLPAs
- Bilingual Spanish skills highly valued due to the student population served
- Ability to complete or verify fingerprinting requirements through the TEA for timely onboarding (may take up to 10 business days)
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments and delivering therapeutic services
- Managing caseloads and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing guidance, oversight, and support to SLPAs as necessary
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Adhering to school and state guidelines for confidentiality, documentation, and reporting
