A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in the Plano/Lewisville, TX area. The role involves providing speech and language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver SLP services to students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs.
- Manage caseloads ranging from 8 to 85 students across multiple school sites.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district standards.
- Support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language goals.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to enhance student outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates holding Clinical Fellow (CF) status must have supervision arranged prior to employment (supervision not provided by the district).
- Experience working within school-based settings is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work onsite at assigned school locations (Old Settlers Elementary, Southridge Elementary, Durham Middle School, and Hebron High School/Hebron 9).
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication with students, families, and school staff.
Job Details:
