A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in the Plano/Lewisville, TX area. The role involves providing speech and language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This is a contract position for the current school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver SLP services to students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Manage caseloads ranging from 8 to 85 students across multiple school sites.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district standards.
  • Support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade with speech and language goals.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to enhance student outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates holding Clinical Fellow (CF) status must have supervision arranged prior to employment (supervision not provided by the district).
  • Experience working within school-based settings is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work onsite at assigned school locations (Old Settlers Elementary, Southridge Elementary, Durham Middle School, and Hebron High School/Hebron 9).
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication with students, families, and school staff.

Job Details:

  • Location: Lewisville/Plano, TX area.
  • Positions Available: 3 (one for each level of education: elementary, middle, and high school).
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Contract duration: Current school year.
  • Onsite work required.
