This maternity leave assignment offers a caseload primarily focused on moderate to severe students, providing targeted speech therapy services within a supportive educational environment.

Location:

  • Grand Prairie, TX (elementary school setting)
  • North Keller area placement
  • Onsite work with one day remote work per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy to students with moderate to severe communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings as required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure and SLP certification (active CCCs preferred)
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
  • Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively, focusing on varied communication challenges

Work Schedule:
