Provide speech-language support to elementary students in a dynamic school setting within Fort Worth, TX. This full-time contract opportunity spans the current school year and focuses on supporting students at two campuses with diverse PreK through 5th-grade populations. Candidates will serve as essential team members covering maternity leaves, delivering targeted therapy to enhance communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students ranging from PreK to 5th grade.
- Manage caseloads effectively, with Independence Elementary hosting approximately 53 students (PreK-3rd grade) and the other assignment involving Old Settlers Elementary (40 students) and Southridge Elementary (8 students) for K-5th grade.
- Provide services onsite with occasional responsibilities across multiple campuses, including two half days at an additional location.
- Participate in collaboration with educational staff to support student development.
- Adhere to district policies and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active State Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
- Strong preference for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Clinical Fellows must have supervision arrangements in place before starting; the district does not provide supervision.
- Experience working within school environments is highly desired.
- Ability to commute to specific school sites is essential.
