Job Overview
Full-time, school-based travel role in a Fort Smith district. You'll provide therapy, collaborate with educational staff and families, and support student communication. Assignments follow the academic schedule, with options for extension.
What Does a Travel Contract Mean?
Travel SLP contracts are temporary (semester or full-year), allowing you to support districts in need while receiving non-taxed housing and meals/incidental stipends, competitive pay, and flexibility for future assignments. Extensions or renewals may be offered.
Responsibilities

Administer speech, language, and communication evaluations per district standards

Develop and implement IEP goals

Provide therapy services in individual and group settings

Monitor progress and document outcomes

Collaborate with parents and teachers to promote communication

Participate in IEP and team meetings
Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Arkansas SLP licensure (or eligibility before start)

CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome

Experience in school or pediatric settings beneficial

Strong organizational, communication skills
