Location: Saint Lucie, FL
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: $40-$45 an Hour

Position Overview:
As an SLP in this district, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels. You will work closely with educators, special education teams, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address each student’s unique needs. Your role will also include supporting teachers with strategies to foster communication growth in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals

Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress

Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development activities
Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active Florida SLP license (Department of Health)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY under supervision

Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and documentation
-
Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting
