This opportunity seeks skilled Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide vital support within K-12 schools in the Lehigh Acres area, serving multiple locations within the East Zone. Operating under a contracted position for the 2025-2026 school year, this role offers full-time hours with potential part-time availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a diverse student population ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Manage caseloads that vary by school assignment, adapting to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide supervision and support to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), if applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or state licensure in speech-language pathology.
- Eligibility to practice as a Certified Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) or Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in multiple school locations, primarily within Lehigh Acres and surrounding East Zone schools.
